Why Does Balivit Exist?
Balivit was born in 2024 from the frustration of its founders who struggled to find a truly local, honest, and trustworthy Bali travel guide. Many existing platforms only promoted popular spots without touching the real cultural depth and uniqueness of Bali.
Beyond that, we recognized many local tourism and culinary SMEs struggling to compete and reach travelers due to limited digital exposure. Balivit was created to address this challenge by helping promote local businesses so their potential can be better known.
We believe every corner of Bali holds a story worth sharing — from roadside rice-field warungs in Ubud to hidden temples in the Kintamani highlands. Balivit is here to bridge travelers, local SMEs, and truly authentic Bali experiences.
